At Atomic Boerboels, all our original dogs were either imported from Africa, the others have been
bred here at Atomic. Only the best dogs were selected that met our requirements. Today, we have improved upon the originals
and are breeding dogs that are healthy and have great temperaments. What is a great temperament? Well, that can mean
different things to different people. What is common to everybody is a dog that is confident, stable, intelligent, and loving
with family. The differences usually come in the guard category (strangers / threats). Some people want a gentle dog
that is accepting of everyone all the time. These dogs are always good watch dogs (sound the alarm), but may not be the
best guards (deal with threats). Others want a dog with "fire" and a true guard dog (deal with any threats).
We work with our customers to meet their needs. We have bloodlines that will meet your requirements. Our dogs are
in heavy demand, this means sometimes there is a waiting list. But, to those who have waited, they will tell you, an Atomic
Boerboel is worth it.
Atomic Boerboels
has placed dogs/puppies throughout the states and internationally; Mexico, Canada, South America, Europe, and yes, even
South Africa. We are getting more and more requests directly from South Africa about our pups.
When you buy an Atomic Boerboel, it is your dog. If you pay full price, we
do not force our buyers to sign a contract that says what you can and cannot do with your dog. Who you can not sell the
dog to, or who you can or cannot register the dog with, or other restrictive rules. Why would anyone agree to such things??
However, some animals should not be bred, for various reasons, and those dogs will be sold cheaper with breeding restrictions.
Atomic Boerboels is a family affair. All our dogs
are family raised. No kennels here. It is important for dogs to enjoy a true dogs life with family, rather than locked
in kennels all the time. If you visit us, we will only have 4-5 at any one time on our premises, and it will vary depending
on which one is in heat, pregnant, or with pups, or which male we are using for breeding or training at the time. We
rarely have more than one male on location at a time.
As you noticed, besides the typical colored Boerboels, Atomic Boerboels has some unique dogs here. Our whitecream dogs and
our black dogs are so very special and 100% true Boerboels. Be sure not to let the color fool you. Take a good
look at the dogs. Please understand that these dogs would be superior boerboels in any color.
We began by being attracted to the dogs, not the registries or clubs.
Which means we initially chose dogs based on Atomic Boerboels' criteria and desires, not because they belonged to a particular
group or club. Registry was not our deciding factor. We do have dogs registered with most of the African registries,
however going forward, we are registering all our dogs with WorldWide Boerboel (WWB). All our puppies sold will
be eligible for WWB registration (www.worldwideboerboel.com)
To date, we have been very
successful and have made alot of people happy. Our dogs speak for themselves. If you want a great dog or something really
special, you have found the right place. If you are not sincere, or you are a "hate'er", please
do not waste our time, we are much too busy enjoying our Boerboels.
